Gas Introduction
Neon gas is a colorless, odorless, non flammable rare gas with the chemical formula Ne. Typically, neon can be used as a filling gas for colored neon lights for outdoor advertising displays, as well as for visual indicator lights, voltage regulation, and laser gas mixtures.
At high concentrations, this product can cause a decrease in oxygen partial pressure in the air and pose a risk of suffocation. Symptoms include accelerated breathing, lack of concentration, and ataxia; Subsequently, fatigue, restlessness, nausea, vomiting, coma, convulsions, and death occurred. Special protection is generally not required during production. But when the oxygen concentration in the workplace air is below 18%, air respirators, oxygen respirators, or long tube masks must be worn.
